Luke is a very special pup he is 12 lbs. of complete love and affection!  We met Luke at Manatee County. When we met, we knew he was coming to the rescue. Luke though has not been using his right front leg and we are unclear if it was always that way or was he hurt recently. After taking Luke to a few surgeons and several X-rays later it was determined that Luke has torn ligaments, but because of the age of the injury Luke’s prognosis of correctable surgery was slim.

  Even though Luke uses only 3 legs he can be rambunctious so his play has to be monitored because of the injury. We are also looking for someone that does NOT have another dog and has a nice secure yard. Luke’s perfect home would also include someone that would be home more often than not.   He is very intelligent and learns quickly. Luke loves his comfy crate, but what Luke really likes is to be cuddled. He is quite the loving boy and there are Kisses Abound!!!
